The Lab
Everything above this is a service. This is what we believe.
We spend most of our time helping other people test their theories. The Lab is where we test our own.
The Experiments
These are experiments we start because we think something should exist, or because we want to know whether a hard problem is as hard as everyone says.
We run them the same way we run client work, through the same loop, and we publish what we find whether or not it makes us look good. Every experiment here shows its theory, its current state and its evidence so far. Real numbers or none.
The territories
We are trying to change something in four places.

AI
What should we trust a machine to decide?
Everybody is asking this question. We would rather answer it with experiments than opinions. We build agents and evaluation methods to find the real boundary between what a model can do and what it should be allowed to do without a person watching. The results are about judgment as much as capability, and we share them.

Products
Some things should exist and nobody is building them.
When we find one, we build it ourselves, put it in front of real people and let usage tell us whether we were right. No client, no brief. Just a conviction and a willingness to be wrong in public.

Systems
Underneath everyday life there is machinery most people never see.
Infrastructure, data, the coordination that makes cities and companies work. We believe a lot of it could run better than it does. We test ideas about efficiency, resilience and access at the scale where small improvements add up to something real.

Ventures
Some theories are big enough to become companies.
Ventures is where we take an idea far enough to know: a small team, a working product, a real market and enough evidence to either spin it out or shelve it with a clear record of why. Either outcome is a good one. What we avoid is not knowing.
